3-2 Installation Requirements
Make sure that you meet the following requirements when installing and operating your
portable hot oil temperature control unit.
Installation Location Considerations
Locate the unit as close as possible to the process for proper circulation and temperature
control. Take care when selecting a location. The area surrounding the unit must be free of
obstructions to ensure proper ventilation of internal components. Allow a minimum
clearance of at least 30 inches (76 cm).
Make sure that the unit location is not in a confined space to ensure proper air circulation.
Special air circulation/ventilation is required for units operating at temperatures 400ºF
(204ºC). Vapors can escape from areas such as the reservoir tank during high temperature
operation.
