9. Hold the arranged wires between your thumb and index finger so that the wires are
close together and flatten
10. Once the wires are in the right order and flat cut them off to a length of ½"
(12.7 mm) (see diagram above)
11. Insert the wires in the RJ 45 connector (NOTE Make sure the connector is
positioned tang down)
12. Make sure the wires are pushed the very end of the connector and that some of the
outer sleeve is inside the connector (see diagram below
13. Using an RJ45 crimp tool and following the instructions of the tool terminate the
connection

Crimp tool. The crimp tools jaw presses the gold plated contacts down so they pierce
through the insulation of all eight wires to make contact with the copper conductor

C Make sure sheath is pushed well inside the connector
14. Cut any spare shield wire close to the plug
16. Slide the gasket, body and locking nut over the RJ45 connector slide
17. Slide the sealing nut and seal towards the body and screw together.
