21.4 DSCP-to-IEEE802.1p Priority Mapping
You can configure the DSCP to IEEE802.1p mapping to allow the ES-4024A to prioritize all
traffic based on the incoming DSCP value according to the DiffServ to IEEE802.1p mapping
table.
The following table shows the default DSCP-to-IEEE802.1P mapping.
21.4.1 Configuring DSCP Settings
To change the DSCP-IEEE 802.1p mapping click the DSCP Setting link in the DiffServ
screen to display the screen as shown next.
Classifier A classifier groups traffic flow based on the specified criteria. This field displays the
name(s) of the classifier(s) you configure in the Classifier screen.
Select a classifier (or traffic flow) to which the rule is applied.
Add Click Add to inset the entry to the summary table below.
Cancel Click Cancel to reset the fields to your previous configuration.
Clear Click Clear to reset the fields back to the factory defaults.
Index This field displays the index number of the rule. Click an index number to edit the rule.
Active This field displays Yes when the rule is enabled and No when is it disabled.
Name This field displays the descriptive name for this rule. This is for identification purpose
only.
DSCP This field displays the DSCP value for this rule.
Classifier This field displays the name of the classifier to which this rule applies.
Delete Click Delete to remove the selected entry from the summary table.
Cancel Click Cancel to clear the Delete check boxes.
