There are two sets of lower paper-feed rollers. One set of rollers is

rubber; the other set is white plastic. The rubber lower rollers are

located below the maintenance tray; the white plastic rollers are

located on the inside of the front cover.

To clean the lower rubber-feed rollers, use either the pre-packaged

alcohol-soaked cloth or fold a lint-free cloth into a two-inch square

and soak with alcohol.

Place and hold the cleaning cloth on top of each lower rubber

roller, pressing to create pressure against the roller.

Press the middle ﬁnger of your other hand ﬂat against a lower

roller and turn the roller using the entire length of your ﬁnger.

The lower rubber roller should rotate four or ﬁve complete

revolutions to ensure proper cleaning.

Scrub each roller thoroughly. If the cloth becomes dirty, discard it

and use another.
