ENGINE MISFIRES, RUNS I RREGULA RLY
1. Fouled/defective/worn spark pl ugs.
– Replace.
2. Fuel: Level too low, stale or water-c onta minated.
– Siphon and/or refill.
3. Faulty ignition coil(s)
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
4. Clogged injectors.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
5. Engine management system fault detected (check engine pilot lamp is
ON).
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
ENGINE SMOKE
1. Oil level too high.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
2. Water ingestion, coolant leak or damaged cylinder head ga sket.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
3. Internal engine damage.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
ENGINE OVERHEATS
1. Clogged ex haust system.
– Flush exhaust system.
2. En gi ne coolant level too low.
– Refer to LIQUI D S.
3. Quick connect a dapter left in flushing connector.
– Remove adapter from flu sh ing connector and retry watercraft. If problem
persists, refer to an autho rized Sea -Doo dealer.
ENGINE LACKS ACCELERATION OR POWER
1. En gi ne o il level too high.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
2. Weak sp ark.
– Refer to ENGINE MISFIRES, RUNS IRREGULARLY.
