Digitally Enc oded Security System
(DESS)
The DESS key spec ifically conta ins an
electronic circuit that gives it a unique
electronic seri al number. This is the
equivalent of a conventi ona l key.
This DESS key cann ot be used on an-
other watercraft and conv ers ely, the
one from another watercraft cannot be
used on your watercra ft.
However, the DESS brings a great flex-
ibility. You can buy an a dditional D ESS
key and hav e it programmed for your
watercraft.
To have additional DESS keys, refer to
an autho rized Sea-Doo dealer.
