On supercharg ed models, use super
unleaded fuel for optimum engine per-
formance.
NO TICE
Never experiment with
other fuels or fuel ratios. Never
use fuel containing more than 10%
ethanol. The use of non-recom-
mended fu el can result in water-
craft performance deter iorati on and
damage to critical parts in the fuel
system and engine components.
Fueling Procedure
WARNING
Always stop the en gine before re-
fueling. Fuel is flammable and ex-
plosive under certain conditions.
Always work in a well ventilated
area. Do no t smo ke or allow open
flames or sparks in the vicini ty.
Fuel ta nk may be pressurized, turn
cap slowly when opening. When
fueling, keep watercraft level. Do
not overfill or to p o ff the fuel tank
and leave watercraft in the sun.
As temperature i ncreases, fuel
expands and might overflow. Al-
ways wipe off any fuel spillage
from the watercraft.
Turn off engine.
Do not allow anyone to rem a in on the
watercraft.
Tie watercraft securely to th e fueling
pier.
Have a fire extinguisher close at hand.
Open the front storage compartment
cover to expose fuel tank cap.

1. Fuel tank cap
Unscrew the cap counterclockw ise.
Do not insert the spout too far in filler
neck.
Pour fuel slowly so that air can escape
from the tank and preve nt fuel flo w-
back. Be careful not to spill fue l.
Stop filling when the fuel reaches the
bottom of filler n eck. Do not fill into the
filler tube to prevent fuel spill out. Do
not overfill.
Reinstall cap and fully tighten.
WARNING
In the event that the fuel c ap
should be replaced, you must en-
sure to use ONLY a BRP vented
fuel cap. Otherwi se, the fuel sys -
tem integrity of your watercraft
will be compromised. There is no
equivalent fuel cap on the market.
