ENGINE LACKS ACCELERATION OR PO WER (cont’d)
3. Engine management system fault detected (check engine pilot lamp is
ON).
– Refer to MONITORING SYSTEM in SPECIAL PROCEDURES.
4. Clogged injectors.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
5. Low fuel pressure.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
6. Water in fuel.
– Siphon and replace.
7. Engine damaged by water ingestion.
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
WATERCRAFT CAN NOT R EACH TOP SPEED
1. Jet pu mp water intake clo gg ed.
– Clean. Refer to SPECIAL P ROCEDURES section.
2. Damaged impeller or worn-out wear ring.
– Replace. Refer to an authorized Sea-Doo dealer.
3. Engine management system fault detected (check engine pilot lamp is
ON).
– Refer to MONITORING SYSTEM in SPECIAL PROCEDURES.
4. Faulty supercharger and/or intercoo ler (sup erc harged models).
– Refer to an autho rized Sea -Do o dea ler.
5. O. P.A. S. si de vanes do not go up whi le wate rc raft is at speed
(models with sl iding vanes).
– Clogged water pick up, sq uare rings damaged, leakage i n hoses or mechani-
cal malfunc tion. Refe r to an autho rized S ea -Doo dealer.
6. O. P.A. S. side vanes do n ot go down whi le engine is at idle
(models with sl iding vanes).
– Broken spring inside side vane cylin der. Refer to an authorized Sea-Doo
dealer.
O.P.A.S. SYSTEM FAULTS (MOD ELS WITH SLIDING VANES)
1. Watercraft is more responsive than usual while turni ng.
– Side vanes do not go up while watercraft is at speed. Refer to a n a uthorized
Sea-Doo dealer.
2. Watercraft pulls on one side.
– One side vane does not go up while w aterc raft is a t spe ed. Refer to an autho-
rized Sea-Doo dealer.
3. O. P.A. S. side va nes do not go up w hile watercraft is at s peed.
