MAINTENANCE PRO CEDURES
5. Reinstall dipstick, push in com -
pletely.
6. Remove d ipstick again and read oil
level. It should be between marks.

NO TE: Every time oil is a dded in en-
gine, the complete procedure ex-
plained previously must be done (en-
gine restarted, idling for 30 s ec onds ,
30 seconds waiting time a nd then,
rechecking the oi l level). Otherwise,
you w ill have a false oi l level reading.

stick.
Engine Oil Change and Oil F ilter
Replacement
The oil change and filter replacement
should be perform ed by an authoriz ed
Sea-Doo dealer.
Engi ne Coolant
Recommended Engine Coolant
Always use ethylene-glycol antifreeze
containing c orros ion inhibitors spec ifi-
cally for in t erna l co mbustion aluminum
engines.
NO TE: When ava ilable, it is rec om-
mended to use biodegradable an-
tifreeze compatible with internal com-
bustion aluminum en gines. This will
contribute to protect the environment.
Cooling sy stem must be filled with wa-
ter and anti free ze solution (50 % dem-
ineralized water, 50% a ntifreeze).
BRP sells premix ed coo lant with freez-
ing protection up to -37°C ( -35°F)
(P/N 293 600 038).
To prevent a ntifree ze deterioration, al-
ways use the s a m e brand. Never mix
different b rands unless cooling system
is comple tely flushed and refi lled. Re-
fer to an authorized Sea-Doo dealer.
Engine Coolant Level
WARNING
Check coolant level with engine
cold. Never add coolant in cooling
system when engine is hot.
