On Optimax motors: if your reading is incorrect and uctuates up and down you must change the tach output to analog by taking the
cowling off the motor, nding the 3 gray wires under the alternator (2 will be connected together), unplug those two and moving the
plug from one wire to the open connector on the 3rd wire.
