Mounting the Transducer on a Trolling Motor
(Dual Beam Only)
To mount the transducer on a trolling motor:
1. Slidethelargecabletiethroughtheslotonthetransducer
mount (see the illustration on page 9)withtheridgesofthe
bandfacingupuntilequallengthsextendonbothsidesof
the mount. (NOTE:Forcoldwater,orheavytimberordebris
areas,ametal4-5"wormgearclampisrecommended.)
2. Positionthemountgasketonthecurvedtopofthe
transducermount.

3. Placethetransducerassemblyagainstthemotorbodyof
thetrollingmotor,withthefrontofthetransducerpointed
away from the trolling motor propeller.
4. Wrapthetwoendsofthecabletiearoundthemotorbody.
Placethepointedendofthecabletiethroughthefastener
holeontheoppositeendandpullitthroughuntilitissnug
but not tight. (The cable tie clicks when you pull it.)
5. Positionthetransducersothatitisparallelwiththebottom
wheninuse,andmakesurethegasketisalignedproperly.
Pullthecabletieenduntiltight.Trimofftheexcessif
necessary.Tightenthe10-32lockingnutuntilittouchesthe
mountingbracket,andthentighten1/4turnmore.(Donot
overtighten.)
6. Routethe30-foot(9m)transducercableusingthesupplied
cable ties to secure the cable to the motor shaft. You can
lltheforward-facingportion(exceptthecabletiepocket)
ofthetransducermountwithsealanttoavoidaccumulating
debris.
