Using Simulator Mode
You can use Simulator mode to practice and learn the operation
of the Fishnder. If the Fishnder does not detect a transducer, it
automatically starts in Simulator mode.
While in Simulator mode, the Fishnder shows a bottom scene,
and you can control the Fishnder (except the Gain and Auto Gain
options). If no keys are pressed for two minutes, the Fishnder
automatically resets to default settings while in Simulator mode.
To exit Simulator mode, turn off the Fishnder.
Optional Accessories
Purchase the following optional accessories on the Garmin Web site:
—mounts your Fishnder ush
on the bulkhead or cabin wall. Press the side clips to release the
Fishnder so you can take it with you.
™—allows you to connect your Fishnder
340C to CANet-capable Garmin chartplotters, so you can read
sonar displays on chartplotters located elsewhere in the boat.
