System Tab
The System tab enables you to control various system and interface
settings.
The following settings are available:
•
—controls all sounds. Select from ,
(sounds for alarms/messages), or (sounds
for key presses and alarms/messages).
•
Language—select from various languages for the
Fishnder’s on-screen display.
•
—lets you simulate Fishnder operation. If
the Fishnder does not detect a transducer, it automatically
enters Simulator mode.
•
—controls the input and output of
NMEA 0183 version 3.01 data to and from the Fishnder.
This setting must be to receive GPS navigational data
and send Sonar NMEA data. See page 16 for details on
available NMEA sentences.
•
—restores all settings to the original factory
default values. The Fishnder 340C turns off and back on
again when you select .
•
—shows the Fishnder’s software version,
copyright date, and unit ID.
•
—this option appears only if you are using
a speed-capable transducer/sensor. This resets the odometer
eld to zero.
