Install the SNMP service for monitoring by a
monitoring application
You must install the SNMP service on each computer that you want to install the BlackBerry Enterprise Server if you want
to use a monitoring application to monitor the BlackBerry Enterprise Server activity.
Before you begin: Verify that each computer can access the Windows installation media.
1. On the taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows
Components.
2. Double-click Management and Monitoring Tools.
3. Select the Simple Network Management Protocol check box.
4. Click OK.
5. When Windows Setup prompts you, install the files from the Windows installation media.
6. Complete the installation wizard.
