11.8.3 Receiving a Position Request
When a position request call is received from another vessel, a ringing alarm

1. When a position request call is received, a calling alarm sounds 4 times.

ted automatically to the vessel requesting your ves-
sels position.

1. When a position request call is received from an-
other vessel, the LCD will show the time and MMSI
or name of person requesting your vessel’s posi-
tion.
2. A ringing alarm sounds 4 times. To send your vessels position to the re-
questing vessel, press the

play, press the

]
