Appendix A Troubleshooting
This appendix helps you to:
• Restore factory default settings to the AXIS 700
• Interpret the AXIS 700 front panel indicators
• Interpret the AXIS 700 error messages
• Display the log file
Restoring Factory Default Settings
If required, you can restore the factory default settings to the AXIS
700, e.g. if you have lost the Server password. You can use one of these
methods:
• Push button
• Web browser
•FTP
Important!
When you restore the factory default settings, all your current
settings including the destinations and scanning profiles will be
lost. You will need to re-assign the Internet address as described in
“Assigning an Internet Address ”on page 17.
