5. When the rudder is reached to hard limit, release the W (or X) key.
6. If the rudder reached to the hard limit properly, select [YES]. If not, select [NO] to
display the message as below.
If retry the rudder test, select [YES] and go back to step 3. If not, select [NO] to
abort the rudder test.
7. The result of the rudder test is displayed.

When the rudder test is completed, a message announces the results of the test.

Rudder test completed. Rudder tested OK.
Rudder speed is too fast to control the vessel. The vessel
may not be controlled properly.
Rudder speed is too fast.
Rudder speed is too slow to control the vessel. The ves-
sel may not be controlled properly.
Rudder speed is too slow.
Deadband is too big to control the vessel. The vessel may
not be controlled properly.*
