PROGRAMMING THE ANALYZER
5.1 GENERAL
This section describes how to make the following program settings using the local keypad.
a. Configure and assign values to the analog current outputs.
b. Configure and assign values to the alarm relays.
c. Choose the type of chlorine measurement being made. This step is necessary because the analyzer used with
the FCL can measure forms of chlorine other than free chlorine.
d. Choose temperature units and automatic or manual temperature correction for chlorine and pH (if a pH
sensor is installed).
e. Set two levels of security codes.
f. Assign limits to diagnostic warnings (applies only if a pH sensor is installed).
g. Reset the analyzer to factory default settings.
5.2 DEFAULT SETTINGS
The analyzer leaves the factory with the default settings shown in Table 5.1. The setting can be changed by the user
to any value shown in the column labeled CHOICES.
