8.12 Replacing Pump Syringes
When the pump syringe is defective (e.g. leaky), you must re-
place it.
Empty pump by running a wash cycle with several strokes
without having a bottle with liquid connected (see section 0)
Turn injector unit off and disconnect it from wall socket.
Pull of locking door of injector unit vertically from above.
Open knurled screw at syringe until you can detach it from the
pump head, and push it down with the syringe piston holder.
Now you may take off the syringe from the front.
Insert new syringe in the syringe piston holder, push it up and
fix it with the knurled screw to the pump head.
Close injector unit.
