3.1.2 Faults and check points
Fault Check Point
Unit does not operate properly.
Checking the connections
Check that wiring is correct.
Check that proper power supply voltage is applied.
Check that phase sequence is correct.
When phase sequence is correct, check that terminals
SOF-SD or terminals RES-SD are connected.
POWER lamp is not lit.
Checking the connections
Check that connections are correct.
Check that control circuit terminals R, S, T are wired correctly.
Check for damaged resistor in the external box.
Charge lamp is not lit.
Checking the connections
Check that connections are correct.
Check that main circuit terminals R4, S4, T4 are wired correctly.
Reactors become unusually hot.
Checking the connections
Check that the reactors 1 and 2 are connected in correct sequence.
Inverter is inoperative.
Checking the settings
Check that the parameter setting of the inverter is correct. (Since the
parameter setting method varies with the inverter series, refer to the inverter
instruction manual.)
Reactors generate unusual noise. Check that phase sequence is correct.
