9. OPTIONS FOR DIRECT DRIVE SERVO
WARNING
Before connecting any option or peripheral equipment, turn off the power and wait for
15 minutes or more until the charge lamp turns off. Then, confirm that the voltage
between P(
) and N( ) is safe with a voltage tester and others. Otherwise, an
electric shock may occur. In addition, always confirm from the front of the servo
amplifier whether the charge lamp is off or not.

Use the specified auxiliary equipment and options. Otherwise, it may cause a
malfunction or a fire.
9.1 Cable/connector sets
POINT
The IP rating indicated is the cable's or connector's protection against ingress of
dust and water when the cable or connector is connected to a servo amplifier,
direct drive motor and absolute position storage unit. If the IP rating of the cable,
connector, servo amplifier, direct drive motor and absolute position storage unit
vary, the overall IP rating depends on the lowest IP rating of all components.
As the cables and connectors used with this servo, purchase the options indicated in this section.
