Icons
Icons are graphic symbols used to mark some location, personal point of
interest or event. They can be placed on the plotter screen, saved and
recalled later for navigation purposes. These are
sometimes referred to as event marker icons. The
M52 Pro has 42 different symbols you can pick from
when creating an icon.
Create Icon on Plotter
1. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the
place where you want to place an icon.
2. Press
ENT and the screen shows a "Select Icon
Symbol" menu.
3. Select the desired symbol for the icon and press
ENT. The icon ap-
pears on the plotter.
Create Icon at Current Position
1. While you are traveling, press
ENT and the screen shows a "Select
Icon Symbol" menu.
2. Select the desired symbol for the icon and press
ENT.
Delete an Icon
You can delete all the icons at one time, you can delete all icons repre-
sented by a particular symbol, or you can use the cursor to delete a se-
lected icon from the plotter.

To Delete All Icons:
1. Press MENU|↓ to DELETE MY ICONS|ENT.
2. Press ↓ to
DELETE ALL ICONS and press ENT.
