Activating and deactivating data sources
Use the following procedure to activate or deactivate data sources.
To activate or deactivate data sources
1 Select the Manage Data Sources task.
2 In the Action column, click Activate for a deactivated data source.
3 To deactivate a data source, click Deactivate in the Action column.
Editing data sources
Use the following procedure to change the properties of data sources.
NOTE
In order to run Tomcat as a Microsoft Windows service, you must first ensure that Visualizer
data sources are defined as system DSN data sources and not user DSN data sources. For
more information on starting Perceive based on Tomcat configuration settings specified in the
installation utility, refer to “Starting, stopping, and uninstalling on a Windows system” on
page 50.
