Processor
This view provides a detailed CPU utilization breakdown by processors and types of
use, as well as CPU scheduling queue. It contains the following metrics:
■ CPU User
■ CPU Privileged
■ CPU Utilization - All Processors
■ Run Queue Length
Look for potential imbalances among processors and excessive queueing.
Memory
This view provides reports on memory utilization (physical and virtual), as well as
paging. It contains the following metrics:
■ Free Memory
■ Memory Paging
■ Memory Utilization
■ Virtual Memory Utilization
High virtual memory utilization may indicate the need to allocate additional disk
space. High paging may indicate that more physical memory is required.
Network
This view provides reports on the amount of traffic and packets transferred across
network interfaces. It contains the following metrics:
■ Network Interface - Highest Traffic In
■ Network Interface - Highest Traffic Out
■ Network Interface - Highest Packets In
■ Network Interface - Highest Packets Out
Use this view to compare bandwidth of the appropriate networks and look for
imbalances.
