6 - 3
Display Name Definition Cause Action
1F Encoder
combination
error
Wrong combination of
servo amplifier and
encoder.
Wrong combination of servo amplifier
and encoder.
Use correct combination.
20 Encoder error 2 Refer to chapter 8 of the MR-J3- B Servo Amplifier Instruction Manual.
21 Encoder error 3
24 Main circuit
error
25 Absolute
position erase
Absolute position data
in error
1. Voltage drop in encoder
(Battery disconnected.)
Connect the battery.
According to the startup procedure (Refer to
section 4.1.1), start up the direct drive servo
again, and set the home position.
2. Battery voltage low
3. Battery cable or battery is faulty.
Replace the battery.
According to the startup procedure (Refer to
section 4.1.1), start up the direct drive servo
again, and set the home position.
4. Absolute position storage unit faulty. Replace the absolute position storage unit.
According to the startup procedure (Refer to
section 4.1.1), start up the direct drive servo
again, and set the home position.
5. The encoder cable is disconnected
or broken.
Check the encoder cable.
According to the startup procedure (Refer to
section 4.1.1), start up the direct drive servo
again, and set the home position.
Power was switched
on for the first time in
the absolute position
detection system.
Home position not set. Connect the battery.
According to the startup procedure (Refer to
section 4.1.1), start up the direct drive servo
again, and set the home position.
27 1. Machine struck. Perform the magnetic pole detection in
order not to strike the machine.
Initial magnetic
pole detection
error
Initial magnetic pole
detection did not
operate normally
2. Accuracy at initial magnetic pole
detection is low.
Check the parameter No.PS09 setting
(magnetic pole detection voltage level).
3. Poor wiring of U, V and W. Correct the wiring.
4. Magnetic pole detection limit switch
is not on.
Connect the magnetic detection limit switch
correctly.
When not connecting the limit switch to the
servo amplifier, check the setting of
parameter No.PS08 (special function
selection 3).
2B Encoder
counter error
Data created by the
encoder has errors.
1. Noise entered the encoder. Shut off the power supply once, then turn
on the power supply again.
According to the startup procedure (Refer to
section 4.1.1), start up the direct drive servo
again, and set the home position.
2. Encoder fault. Replace the direct drive motor.
3. Encoder cable faulty. Check if the shield of the encoder cable is
treated correctly. (Refer to section 9.1.2(3))
After confirming its treatment, start the
direct drive servo again by referring to the
startup procedure (in section 4.1.1) and set
the home position.
