Enjoying an input source from a connected device
immediately (One-Touch Play)
When you play content on a device connected to the receiver via an HDMI connection, the
receiver is also automatically turned on and switched to the appropriate HDMI input.
Note
Depending on the TV, the start of the content may not appear.
Enjoying TV sound from the speakers connected to the
receiver (System Audio Control)
You can use the System Audio Control function as follows:
The sound of the TV is output from the speakers connected to the receiver if you turn the
receiver on while sound is being output from the TV speaker. If you turn off the receiver,
the sound is output from the TV speaker.
When you adjust the TV volume, the System Audio Control function adjusts the volume of
the receiver simultaneously.
Note
When [Control for HDMI] is set to [On], the [Audio Out] settings in the HDMI Setup menu
will be set automatically based on the System Audio Control settings.
Depending on the TV you use, numbers indicating the volume level of the receiver may
appear just like when you change the TV volume level. These numbers may be different
from those displayed on the display panel of the receiver.
Hint
You can also operate this function using the TV menu. For details, refer to the operating
instructions of the TV.
