4.14 CONFIGURATION
USING AMS DEVICE
MANAGER
The Rosemount 2230 Graphical Field Display supports DD Methods to
facilitate device configuration. The following description shows how to use the
AMS Device Manager application to configure the Rosemount 2230 in a
FOUNDATION fieldbus system.
4.14.1 Starting the
Guided Setup
Before starting the Guided Setup it is recommended to configure the Multiple
Analog Output (MAO) blocks and connect them to appropriate tank process
variables using Control Studio or a similar application.
To configure the Rosemount 2230 in AMS:
1. From the Start menu; open the AMS Device Manager application.
2. Open the View>Device Explorer.
3. Click the right mouse button or double-click the desired device icon to
open the list of menu options:
