NOTE: Higher-level virtual disks that are specifically related to premium features (Snapshot, Remote
Virtual Disk Replication, Virtual Disk Copy, mapping, and persistent reservations) are removed as part
of the import operation. You must run the show diskGroup importDependencies command
before you run the start diskGroup import command.
Start Disk Pool Locate
Description
This command initiates a location operation on all of the physical disks that comprise the specified disk
pool.
Syntax
start diskPool [diskPoolName] locate
Parameters
Parameter Description
diskPool
The alphanumberic identifier of the disk pool
(including – and _) that you want to locate.
Enclose the diskPoolName in square brackets ([ ]).
Start Enclosure Blink
Description
This command identifies an enclosure by turning on the indicator LED. (Use the stop enclosure
blink command to turn off the indicator LED for the enclosure.)
Syntax
start enclosure [enclosureID] blink
Parameters
Parameter Description
enclosure
Identifies the enclosure to blink. Enclosure ID
values are 0 to 99. You must put brackets ([ ])
around the enclosure ID value.
