mac access-list extended
Use the mac access-list extended command in Global Configuration mode to
create the MAC Access Control List (ACL) identified by the
name
parameter.
Syntax
mac access-list extended
name
no mac access-list extended
name

— Name of the access list. (Range: 1-31 characters)
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
Use this command to create a mac access control list. The CLI mode is
changed to Mac-Access-List Configuration when this command is
successfully executed.
Example
The following example creates MAC ACL and enters MAC-Access-List-
Configuration mode.
console(config)#mac access-list extended LVL7DELL
console(config-mac-access-list)#
