Lock-protected functions
This section lists the meter’s lock-protected functions for MID compliance. After the
meter is locked, these functions are disabled.
These functions can be accessed from the maintenance menu screen. Use the front
panel buttons to navigate to the Maint > Reset menu.
Setting up the PM5561
You must configure all the lock-protected setup parameters before locking the meter.
When the meter is locked, those setup parameters cannot be edited.
Basic setup menu
See “Configuring basic setup parameters” on page 35 to perform basic setup.
For MID compliance, the Power System must be set to one of the following settings:
3PH4W Wye Gnd (three-phase 4-wire wye grounded)
3PH3W Dlt Ungnd (three-phase 3-wire delta ungrounded)
Advanced setup menu
See “Configuring advanced setup parameters” on page 37 to perform advanced setup.
You must use ION Setup to edit the device label.
Clock setup menu
See “Setting the clock” on page 44 to change the meter time using the display.
You can also use ION Setup to set or sync the meter time.
