CERTIFICATION The 3144P is certified by TÜViT to IEC61508 for single transmitter use in
Safety Instrumented Systems up to SIL 2 and redundant transmitter use in
Safety Instrumented Systems up to SIL 3.
3144P SIS
IDENTIFICATION
All safety certified 3144P transmitters require safety certified electronics.
These electronics can be identified by the yellow plastic casing surrounding
the electronics.
To identify a safety certified meter cover.
1. Verify that the electronics casing is yellow (or behind LCD).
Explosions can result in death or serious injury.
