9-1-1 Determining Operating Status from the Indicators
The following table shows the status of the MS and NS indicators and the 7-
segment display during normal operation.
Indicator status Network/Unit status Comments
MS NS 7-segment
OFF OFF OFF Initializing with PC Initialization processing with the PC is in progress.
Restart the DeviceNet Unit if this status continues
for an extended period of time. Replace the CPU
Unit and/or DeviceNet Unit if the problem is not cor-
rected by restarting.

and slave functions are disabled and the Unit is
waiting for a connection by message communica-
tions.
