F.3.39 Transducer material (P970)
This read-only parameter indicates the transmitter’s wet-side material.
Field Communicator
1. From the Home screen, select 1: Overview.
2. Select 3: Shortcuts,
and then select 1: Device Information.
3. Select 2: Materials of Construction.
4. Select 1: Transducer Material P970.
5. When finished, press EXIT to exit to the previous menu.
Mobrey MCU900 Series control unit
1. From the Main Menu screen, select SETUP.
2. Select the transmitter (e.g. “Tx1:MSP400RH”).
3. Select SYSTEM, FIXED, and then Tx Material.
4. When finished, press EXIT to exit to the previous menu.
F.3.40 Poll address (D951)
This indicates the transmitter polling address for the HART protocol.
The poll address range is 0 to 15. When it is 0, the transmitter is in 4–20 mA mode. For all other
addresses, the transmitter is in multi-drop mode and the current output is fixed to 4 mA.
Field Communicator
To view or change the poll address:
1. From the Home screen, select 2: Configure.
2. Select 2: Manual Setup.
3. Select 4: HART/Identity (MSP900GH)
or 5: HART/Identity (MSP400RH).
4. Select 2: Communication, and then select 1: Poll Address D951.
5. If a change is required:
(a) Select a new setting, and then select “ENTER” to save it.
(b) Press “SEND” to update the transmitter.
