Operation selection at power failure and instantaneous power failure
5.13.2 Power-failure deceleration stop function (Pr. 261)
The above parameters can be set when Pr. 160 User group read selection = "0". (Refer to page 167)
When a power failure or undervoltage occurs, the inverter can be decelerated to a stop or can be decelerated and re-
accelerated to the set frequency.

(1) Parameter setting
When Pr. 261 is set to "1" or "2", the inverter decelerates to a
stop if an undervoltage or power failure occurs.
(2) Operation outline of deceleration to stop at power
failure
When undervoltage or power failure has occurred, the output
frequency is decreased and controlled so that the converter
circuit (DC bus) voltage is constant and decreased to 0Hz to
stop.
REMARKS
When automatic restart after instantaneous power failure is selected (Pr. 57 ≠ "9999"), power failure stop function is invalid and
automatic restart operation after instantaneous power failure is valid.
When the power failure deceleration to stop function is active (Pr.261 = "1"), the inverter will not start by turning the power ON
while the start signal (STR/STF) is being input through FL remote communication. After switching ON the power, turn OFF the
start signal once and then ON again to make a start.

(3) Power failure stop function (Pr. 261 = "1")
If power is restored during power failure deceleration,
deceleration to a stop is continued and the inverter remains
stopped. To restart, turn OFF the start signal once, then turn it
ON again.
