After Submerging
CAUTION
Do not operate the watercraft with water in the en-
gine.
Do not try to start the engine until it is completely
empty of w ater; internal engine parts could be se-
verely and immediately damaged. If water gets into
the engine, follow this procedure immediately! If
water is left in the engine more than a few hours,
it will destroy the crankshaft bearings and d amage
other internal engine parts.
If the watercraft becomes swamped, w ater may enter the
engine through the throttle body. Water may also enter the
fuel tank.
