Inlet Air Pressure Sensor (Service Code/Character-12/bOSt)
If the output voltage is far out of the usable range, check
the output voltage at the sensor connector [A].
•
Measure the output voltage at the sensor in the same way
as input voltage inspection. Note the following.

Meter (+) → G/R lead [C]
Meter (–) → BK/W lead [D]
Output Voltage at Sensor Connector
Usable Range:
3.75 ∼ 4.25 V D C at the standard
atmospheric pressure (101.32 kPa or
76 cmHg absolute)
If the output voltage is normal, check the wiring for conti-
nuity (see next diagram).
If the output voltage is out of the usable range, replace
the sensor.
•
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
•
Remove the sensor harness adapter.
