HTAWSalertstypicallyemployaCAUTIONoraWARNINGalertseveritylevel,orboth.Whenanalertis
issued,visualannunciationsaredisplayedandauralalertsaresimultaneouslyissued.Table6-9showsHTAWS
alert types with corresponding annunciations and aural messages.
Whenanalertisissued,annunciationsappearonthePFDandMFD.TheHTAWSAlertAnnunciationis
showntotheupperleftoftheAltimeteronthePFDandbelowtheTerrainLegendontheHTAWSPageonthe
MFD.IftheHTAWSPageisnotdisplayedatthetime,apop-upalertappearsinthelower-rightcornerofthe
MFD.Toacknowledgethepop-upalert:
•PresstheCLR Key(returnstothecurrentlyviewedpage),or
•PresstheENT Key(accessestheHTAWSPage)
