2.2.1 Schematic Capture
In this section, you will place and wire the components in the circuit shown below.
Opening and Saving the File
When you first launch Multicap, a blank file is opened on the workspace called "Circuit1".
To save the file with a new name:
1. Select
File/Save As to display a standard Windows Save dialog.
2. Navigate to the location where you wish the file to reside, and enter "sample_and_count"
as the filename, and click on the
Save button.
To guard against accidental loss of data, set up a timed auto-backup of the file in the
Save tab
of the
Preferences dialog box.
To open an existing file:
1. Select
File/Open, navigate to the location where the file resides, highlight the file, and
click on the
Open button.
