HAZARD AVOIDANCE
6.6 TCAS I TRAFFIC
WARNING
: The GTS 850 Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS I) is intended for advisory use
only to aid the pilot in visually acquiring traffic. No avoidance maneuvers should be based solely upon TCAS
I traffic information. It is the responsibility of the pilot in command to see and maneuver to avoid traffic.
Aircraft without operating transponders out outside of the surveillance range are invisible to the GTS 850.
NOTE: TIS is disabled when TCAS I is installed.
