Add a new routing rule
When you click Add On the Routing Rules tab, the Add Routing Rules dialog box
opens.
Use this rule under the following conditions
In this section of the dialog box, you can define which numbers the rule will
match and, optionally, set a schedule for when this rule is in effect.
n Digits dialed. Type the pattern that will match the dialed numbers you
want the routing rule to process. For example,
Nxxxxxx
would match any
seven-digit local number. See “Defining patterns to match the dialed
digits” on page 8-38 for details. The pattern entered here is displayed in
the Dialed digits column of the Routing Rules tab.
n Schedule. If you want to apply the rule only at scheduled times, click
to change from the default
Always, which indicates that the rule is always
in effect. In the Custom Hours dialog box that opens, define the hours and
days of the week or the specific dates that this rule will be in effect. See
“Setting up custom time rules” on page 6-22 for more information. If you
enter a schedule, it is displayed in the Schedule column of the Routing
Rules tab.
